Alberto Tabigue

Alberto Aurigue Tabigue , 76, of South Floral Park, NY, earned his angel wings Monday, November 5, 2018. He was born in Caloocan, Philippines on August 7, 1942.

In his early 20’s Alberto immigrated to the United States, leaving behind his mother, sisters, and cousins in search for a better life in the United States. He put himself through college, received his degree in Accounting and began working as an auditor in NYC. He has worked for Rosenthal and Rosenthal up until his retirement in 2010. Through his hard work and dedication, his family has also moved to the United States and he has also started his own family as well.

Family was of high importance to Alberto. Every holiday, special occasion or just weekend was a huge gathering and celebration. He will be remembered for his loving heart and unfathomable devotion.

Alberto is survived by his cherished wife Iluminada (Perez) of 50 years. His is the devoted father of Arlene (Charles) Fuerst and Albert “Air” (Amalia) Tabigue. He is the cherished grandfather to Aaron “Silver”, Avery “Tanner”, Asher, Autumn, and Hunter “Chip”. He is also survived by his sisters Amelia (Oscar) Reyes, Anita (Claro) Berba, and Aida (Vince) Torres. He is the loving cousins of Edith (Isagani) Chacon, Edilberto Pascual, and Edna Vizconde. He is adored by countless nephews and nieces, extended family and friends. His legacy of family, faith and love will go on in those lives he has touched.

To the family of Alberto

May you all be comforted and peace be with you at this time of sorrow for the passing of your loved one.

I worked with him at Rosenthal &Rosenthal for 11 years and he was a good team worker and used to travel with him in our audit engagement to various places in the US.

He was our guide where to eat at lunch time and had good choice of food.
