Thank you all for coming to honor one of a kind, my "bonus mom" Ana Luz Quintans.

Ana blessed our lives for 80 vibrant years until she passed away on September 30, 2024. Although not struvtly religious; she lived a Christian life of honesty, kindness, and moral clarity.
 
People who knew her understood that Ana didn't just talk about values - she lived them. Her role as a mother extended beyond her own children; she became a mother to many. You could always count on walking into her home during the summer to hear laughter, chatter, and, of course, a delicious meal. In sun-soaked bliss, we skated by the pool for days. I always marveled at how she managed to cook, clean, and even do laundry while keeping a semblance of order among the neighborhood kids. 
 
Her generous spirit and zest for life extended to game days, where she was always the most enthusiastic player. She didn't just participate; she lit up the room with her infectious energy and unwillingness to give up. Throwing salt at anyone who won too many rounds! This passion became a cornerstone for many of us—a testament to embracing life with joy and living it fully. 
 
What I will miss the most about Ana is, undoubtedly, her smile. There was a sparkle in her eyes every time she laughed, a warmth that could fill any room. The spirit of joy she infused into our game days, the childhood wisdom and homemade remedies she always seemed to have ready, and the way she became a second mother to me—each of these things has left an indelible mark on my heart.
 
I remember how hard she worked, and how she gave tirelessly of herself. It is so fitting to think of her now with the words, "A golden heart stopped beating, hard-working hands at rest. It broke our hearts to see you go, God only takes the best." 
 
Ana, you were truly the best—our guiding light, our moral compass, our friend and my bonus mom. Though it’s hard to say goodbye, your legacy of love, kindness, and honesty lives on in each of us.
