A special tribute written below
Annette M. Cummings Griffith was such a unique flower
She was able to bloom in any kind of weather
What a beautiful friend mother sister aunt cousin grandmother
The void she has left leaves you to wonder
For everyone present knows of her cheerful spirit
And how in gatherings we smiled at her wit
Annette was much more than a caregiver
Her parents looking down know she was an extra ordinary daughter
The love that she shared with both parents
Is far beyond any spoken compliments
As for her siblings she went beyond the call of duty
To each of them she must have pledged loyalty
What do you desire from one you call a friend
Her walk was guaranteed with you to the end
Abounding in patience goodness and kindness
Our sister cared about everyone’s happiness
She always had something big or little to offer
And was very vocal if with you she had to differ
For everyone she encountered there was a good advice
Which you better accept as it had to suffice
So many memories you shared in her friendship
Not to mention those who had a closer relationship
In her own way for many she laid a foundation
As a teacher in her own right she believed in Education
Our sister was sincere as she was humble
She has left us a legacy by her example
She grasped every opportunity that called for assistance
Never a barrier or obstacle for resistance
In her simplicity she managed to do great things
For these I am sure she got many blessings
A woman of Faith a woman of substance
Her being called home is a sign of Acceptance
was loaned to us for a while not forever
So with strength we will get through this together
Our journey with you has come to an end
Rest in the arms of the Lord dear sister dear friend
Love Always,, Anna-Marie Campbell and Marlene Thomas
