Barbara B. Taylor

Barbara was a member of the Hollis, Bellerose, Queens Village Volunteer Ambulance Corp. for many years, which later led to her employment in the emergency room at Long Island Jewish Hospital. For over 20 years she worked the 12-8 a.m. shift, perfect for her night owl personality.. She retired in 2002 in order to take care of her husband Frank until his passing in 2006.

Barbara is survived by her four children, their 3 spouses, 9 grandchildren and 1 great- granddaughter.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.

A visitation for Barbara will be held Saturday, December 11, 2021 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at R. Stutzmann & Son, 22439 Jamaica Ave, Queens Village, New York 11428. A funeral mass will occur Monday, December 13, 2021 at 9:45 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes RC Church, 92-96 220th St, Queens Village, New York 11428. An interment will occur Monday, December 13, 2021 at 11:15 AM at Cedar Grove Cemetery, 130-04 Horace Harding Expressway, Flushing, NY 11367.
