Very sad to hear about the loss of my cousin Ganesh .I  have very fond memories of growing up in Belair and spending time with all our cousins and Ganesh. We had a summer cookout every year and Ganesh was the main person leading the cooking. Somehow we made a very tasty "cook up rice".
Ganesh was always a bit shy ,but always smiling and very pleasant to me whenever I met him.
May he rest in peace .

I first met Ganesh in 1970, the year that I was fortunately blessed to marry his Buddy Yank and join the two illustrious SAMLALL families of Belair headed by the brothers Gunraj and Prem. I was impressed by the respectful, courteous, friendly and welcoming conduct of the pre-teen Ganesh and his two younger siblings, Lily and Suresh. Their gracious behavior reflected those of their parents,my father and mother-in-law, brothers and sister-in-law and grandmother in-law.
     I remember the admirable work ethic of all the Samlalls which Ganesh demonstrated at such a young age in good measure. He helped his father, Uncle Prem, in the afternoons after school with the cows, then responsibly tackled his school assignments. 
     When Ganesh started at Central High School, in his first year he found French a little challenging. On my sometimes weekly weekend visits to the Belair homes, I occasionally worked with him on his French homework . I realized that not only was Ganesh an intelligent and quick learner, but that he had a flair for comedy. We shared some giggles over his mischievous, deliberate mispronunciation of the French phrases.
      Ganesh was affectionate, loyal, and held his birth family, as well as,later on after marriage, his own family in high regard. Ganesh and his family took the time to visit us in Orlando,after their cruise ship docked in Miami and again at another time visited accompanied by his son, Sanjay for a week. During that time,he helped his Buddy Yank with a tremendous amount of yardwork,even sustaining a minor eye injury while trimming the branches of an oak tree. 
       The last time we saw Ganesh was in 2016 at a gathering at Lily's and Sase's home. He entertained us all with his incisive, quick wit and hilarious family anecdotes. 
     Ganesh was loving, affable,kind and good hearted. We loved him and WILL miss his earthly presence. Go in peace, little brother. Be with GOD for all eternity,if it is HIS WILL.

Uncle Ganesh was always very thoughtful person who went out of his way to help others and his immediate family members . His last visit to our home in Wedgefield -East Orlando in 2006 was special  and memorable as he spent time with us and especially my Dad , Arjune , who was retired by then , and  who relished the extra time to spend with Ganesh . Ganesh went out of his way to help my Dad out with some outdoor projects including helping cut down part of a tree . Moreover , we enjoyed talking with Uncle  Ganesh over past family events and family members which evoked fond memories for all of us including my Dad whose spirit was lifted by Ganesh 's company and stay with us . Thank you Uncle Ganesh for your time with us .

Aunty,Suresh and Lilly the news of Ganesh's passing was received with immense sadness. I remember his shyness and quiet nature as we were growing up and his curiosity about different surroundings when he visited us in Albuoystown. He will be missed dearly.  I wish him  peace as he travels on his next journey. LOVE Seeta.
