Oh how sad this moment is but who you were will always bring a smile when I remember you and my husband sharing points as you snapped photos we can look back on and remember your warmth, smile and gentlemanly persona. May your legacy be the life you shared a day the love you gave the keeps your family celebrating you in the faces and antics they see in each other as God gives them the support to carry on. If not for Facebook many of us would have missed the pleasure to have met you, we're all the richer for having had the honor. On behalf of my family to your, our prayers and support are with you. Out friendship was a fifty five year bond. A bond so strong that it was adopted by our children, who are continuing another generation of this friendship.
Your most admirable quality my friend was the manner in which you raised your family, with your very supportive wife Gemma.
My most fond memories of you were our family road trips to Saratoga Springs for the Kool Jazz festivals and most recently, our southwest road trip through California , Nevada and Arizona.
I break into a smile anytime I think of you, because all of our encounters and experiences have been fun.
I will miss you.

Courtney, from the time we met in the early 70s, you had such a calm and cool personality. Whether it be hanging out on Park Pl. or riding the train back and forth to work or in somebody's party we always had a fun and friendly relationship. Life and relocation took us in different directions and thanks to AGF(social media) we were able to keep in touch that way. You will be missed on many levels including you participation on our Facebook page. Rest in peace my friend. May you find comfort in the hands of angels.

From the time I met you in ‘84, you would always run, then have Jerry running around the block and me on my bike!! The way you called my name had Jerry and I mocking you LOL!! Your admiration for jazz made me like it after a while!! I’m glad I got to talk to you on your birthday and Fathers Day!! You will always be remembered!! Sleep in Peace!!

Courtney, from the time I met you as a fellow administrator of our FB Group, AGF, you were such a gentleman. You showed such concern for everyone and was such a kindred soul. You always had a smile and kind words. You will always be missed. I will not be able to be at your 'Home Going' in person, but I will certainly be there in spirit. God bless.
