It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Daniel McCool, cherished son, brother, nephew, cousin, and dear friend to so many. He left us far too soon, and the void he leaves behind is immeasurable.
Daniel loved deeply and fiercely. Those fortunate enough to know him were touched by his unwavering loyalty, warmth, and generosity. His presence was a gift, and his love was a constant source of strength and comfort.
A meticulous craftsman, Daniel took immense pride in his work, pouring care and precision into everything he created. His hands built more than just structures—they built trust, beauty, and legacy.
His compassion extended beyond people to the animals, who seemed to know he would help them instinctively. Whether sick or injured, they found solace in his gentle spirit. We take comfort in the thought that his soul is now surrounded by every animal he ever cared for, embraced by the love he so freely gave.
Though his physical presence is no longer with us, the souls he touched continue to walk this earth, carrying his memory in their hearts. We will miss him dearly, but we will think of him with a smile and love that never fades.
Rest in peace, Daniel. You will always be remembered, always be loved.
A Celtic poem: Grieve not nor speak of me with tears, but laugh and talk of me as though I were beside you. I loved you so, 'twas heaven here with you all.
Daniel's cremation will be held privately with his family.
