Happy Thanksgiving dad. I miss you very much!

It's now three years since you left me. I miss u every day. I remember how many times I begged you not to 
go I couldn't live without you. I'm so sorry u held on for me. Finally I knew how much pain you were in ,and I had to let u go. I kissed his lips,then I kissed  his cheek,
Then I whispered in his ear only he would know. Then I kissed his forehead then said you can go now David. When I looked at him he had stopped breathing. My son and our  grandson
said to me. As soon as u kissed his  forehead he stopped breathing. I never wanted you to leave but u were in so much pain. Now I'm in so much pain and lonliness  I miss u my darling. Hold a place for me.

I still cry tears of joy thinking about all the wonderful years growing up with you as my father. Although I push forward it still crushes my heart not being able to have you in the physical. To hear your voice of confidence, words of wisdom, you were always thinking about the family never yourself. Dad you will never know how special of a man you were, are and always will be in my eyes. Time heals all is not true. You never heal you just learn to survive and live with it. I miss you dad.

Just wanted to say I love and miss you Pop. It's only 3 years but feels like forever. I hope to see you again one day and until I do, you will always be in my heart and soul. May God keep you in eternal Peace and Joy in the name of Christ our Lord. Love your son.

              I can't believe it's 11/19/2014 and 2 years since you were taken from me. It's hard trying to go on without you, knowing I can never hold you or kiss you or do the things we use to enjoy, or just being together. My heart aches all the time.

It's one year since you were taken from me. It's still so hard to believe you're gone. This past 8/24/13 was hard for me knowing it was our 50th anniversary, we had made plans to renew our vows. Saying goodbye to you was one of the hardest things I ever had to do. You are an amazing Dad that has done so much for us.

I did not know your father. I went through the pictures in the gallery. Thanks.
I am sure that he was, he is and will continue to be a hero and a guiding light for his generation and the ones to follow. 
Our condolences to you, your family and others who miss him dearly. 

If his pictures are so impactful, I do not have doubts that people who came close to him would have also be impacted by him. I am sure that his memories and well wishes will carry you through.
