He is survived by his wife, Loretta and daughters Kelin & Kerri. He was so proud of his girls and son in laws and their accomplishments in life. He cherished his grandchildren Sophia, Mackenzie, Ella and Jace. Everything about them made him so happy.
He inherited many nieces and nephews and loved them all. He was UNCLE DENNIS. Occasionally he would have a drink or two with them, maybe even five or ten. We were both lucky to have amazing friends and neighbors who are like family. For that, my children and I are grateful.
Dennis worked as a cross country truck driver but driving took a toll on his health. He proceeded to go into real estate and became a broker and had a partner and friend, Anna for the past 20 years. His idea of a vacation was just to be with his family.
Hopefully someone will carry on his specialty dishes and not doctor them up like his son in law, Mike. We will never be able to duplicate his mussels, ribs and seafood salad. We have so many wonderful memories that were special and made us all laugh. He loved all animals, especially his cats, Gracie, Milo, and Baby. For the past few years he carved canes, walking and hiking sticks from scratch from tree limbs and driftwood. He thoroughly enjoyed making them and even sold some. I am sure he is looking down on us with a deck of cards in his hands playing pinochle or poker.
We all have wonderful memories. We love you and we will miss you terribly.
