Elizabeth was born in Montego Bay, Jamaica, to Clarence and Finnetta Service. At the age of four, she moved with her family to the Bronx, New York, where she was raised and developed the caring and determined spirit that guided her throughout life. She later attended York College, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work.
For more than 20 years, Elizabeth devoted her life to helping others. She cared for adults of all ages—including seniors and individuals with special needs, such as those on the autism spectrum. Elizabeth ensured that every individual received the respect, attention, and highest level of care they deserved.
In her previous marriage to Bobby Pryce, they welcomed their son, Ahron Pryce, in June 2001. Ahron was the joy of her life, and she cherished every moment with him.
Elizabeth enjoyed knitting, shopping for clothes, relaxing with her
favorite television programs and working out. Her participation in Job Corps helped shape her career and her commitment to helping others.
She was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Service, and her brother, Ambrose Service, her niece Tanisha.
She is survived by her beloved son, Ahron Pryce; Ahron’s father, Bobby Pryce; her loving mother, Finnetta Service; her sister, Marie Robinson; and her brothers, Steven Service and Patrick Service. She also leaves behind nieces Alicia, Amber, Adeja (Elizabeth’s Goddaughter), Ashley, Jordan, Shanique, Tyler; nephews Ace, Christopher, Shandy, Stephen Jr., Steven Jr., Stevaughn, and many friends whose lives she touched.
Elizabeth’s kindness, dedication, and the positive impact she had on those around her will be remembered always. Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched and the memories she leaves behind.
