Mother's Treasure

As a baby she was your everything.
swaddling,warming 
and pressing kisses on your cheek

You grew up thinking
she doesnt know it all 
she doesn't even understand me

And when finally you realize
The world is round about as mother often said
" yeah some of the things she said was right" you begin to think
But
daily life, family ties
taking care of her didn't always jive 

dawn on the tomorrow will come and you promise to tell her
how much mother means 

You  look at your own daughter 
and say something to her that sounds like an echo from the past.

And today dawn is here
But mother cant come over tonight

Now though your heart pains 
Remember the good things to treasure
And once in a while you'll speak words she left behind

To my dear mother-in-law,

I will forever cherish our talks, jokes, and most importantly your Big smile. You inspire me in so many ways.  A strong woman that accomplished so much in life and dedicated not only to herself but her family you been through so much. Now is time for you to rest and be with the Lord and Angels,  I will always be grateful for having you in my life for 25years.. I won't say goodbye but will say to you until we meet again.

You were a great inspiration to me growing up. I remember doing a school report when i was in high school on someone who i was influenced by and i chose you. I've always looked up to you. You didn't have the easiest life growing up and somehow overcame every obstacle possible that life threw at you. you were a fighter in every aspect and if i can grow up to be half the woman you were i will be so proud. I'm going to miss you very much. You would always tell me the funniest stories and gossip i'd be entertained for hours! You will always live in my heart. It hurts me that you're gone but You're now my guardian angel. As difficult as for me to accept this, but Daddy reminds me that you're at peace. I love you very much and i want to thank you for being the best grandmother you could of possibly been and i will forever cherish you in my heart. Open letter to my mom, who about now is checking in at heavens gate.mom you came here post world war 2 on a 8 hour propeller flight from Puerto Rico .Alone afraid and sixteen years old and a 7th grade education. Your early road was turbulent factory jobs bad marriages poverty and no one to turn too. but you chose not to give up you grabbed your 3 kids and said we are getting out of this mess.You managed to go from a mom with 3 kids on welfare to a masters degree graduate from city college of New York , with that you managed to instill in your kids to never give up never quit no matter how hard the situation is .Then in your golden years you were challenged as you become very iill  you fought back again and again and again .finally you succumbed to your illness and we were shocked because we knew you wasn't going easy. you fought the good fight mom. The one thing you have left me mom was to never give up your will to live. Because of your will to never give up generations of carrion and narcissie children  will never know poverty and will travel a good road in life.so on this Mother's Day I say to you mom I love you I will miss you so bad and I will never forget  because you for will be in my heart.
