Emily Jean Marks, age 38, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, November 6th, at 8:34 P.M. after a tragic car crash in Dennis, Massachusetts. Born on Long Island on February 18th, 1980, Emily was an excellent massage therapist, and talented artist. Emily was compassionate towards those less fortunate. She once picked up soup for herself and her daughter, and on the way home, drove past a homeless man on the street. She turned her car around and gave the soup to him. Her smile could brighten anyone’s day. She was also beginning an education in integrative medicine, a goal long aspired to.
In her last months, Emily enjoyed the warmth and fellowship of the church in Newton, Massachusetts. She said she felt welcomed and at home there.
Emily is survived by her cherished and beloved daughter, Kylee Sage, her parents, Paul and Donna Olson, her beloved brother, Brian, aunts, uncles, and close cousins.
The family will receive friends and family at R. Stutzman & Son Funeral Home, 224-39 Jamaica Avenue, Jamaica, NY 11428, on Sunday afternoon from 2 to 8. Memorial Service from 5 to 7.
