Franklin A. Dela Cruz of Floral Park, NY, passed away on May 30, 2020, after a brave battle with stage 4 colon cancer. Franklin was born February 28, 1944 to the late Carmen and Domingo Dela Cruz in Ilocos Norte, Philippines. Franklin graduated from University of the East in the Philippines. He moved to the United States in December of 1972 where he settled in San Francisco and later moved to New York. He married the love of his life, Rachel M. Villaruel and had three sons, Norman, Franklin Jr. (Jun-Jun), and Malcolm. He retired from Easter Unlimited/Fun-World in 2017 with almost 30 years of service. Franklin is remembered for his zest of life and warm hospitality. He is remembered for the gatherings he hosted, his infamous BBQ, his love of sports and "sweet" karaoke voice. Most importantly, he is remembered as a loving father and grandfather. In addition to his parents, Franklin was predeceased by his wife, Rachel, his son, Jun-Jun, his brother Clarence and sister Jeanette. He is survived by his sisters, Ruth and Catherine, his son, Norman, his son, Malcolm and wife, Vanessa, and their daughter, Emily. There will be an online service held on June 4, 2020 at 9PM EST for family, and at 10PM EST open to all. On June 5th there will be a private family viewing & an private interment ceremony at Pinelawn Memorial Park in the future.

Franklin A. Dela Cruz of Floral Park, NY, passed away on May 30, 2020, after a brave battle with stage 4 colon cancer. Franklin was born February 28, 1944 to the late Carmen and Domingo Dela Cruz in Ilocos Norte, Philippines.
