Rest in peace Gary! I always enjoyed talking with you about your foodie adventures especially your trips with Alex to the night market in Queens. And your love of music, guitars, and horror movies.  
   I will never forget your smile and the pride and love I  saw when you looked at Alex the last time I saw you after graduation. I know you worked hard and it was not easy, but you raised a wonderful son who is going to do great things in this world. 
  Hope you and Gina are smiling together once again!

I met Gary when he was 19 I was 22 years old the rest is history.  So grateful that I got to be around him all of these years, I am 65 he was 62 when he left this world. Gary was a good man and beyond a great father.  He did everything for his son, sacrificed everything for him. Not too many fathers do all that he did, took his son everywhere, did things with him.  I experienced many events with Gary, Gina and Alex since he was a little boy.  We were all movie buffs and food buffs.  Even after Gina passed we all continued our movie journey.  I will always love and miss Gary, he did a lot for me too, every year he would make the pilgrimage with me to pick up 20 cat houses for the neighborhood strays that I care for.  Gary was always there for everyone he was a good soul.  I cant tell you how devastated I was to hear he was gone.  You were supposed to take me to coney island this month for Nathans AND STUFF LIKE THAT, what happened.  RIP my beautiful Gary.

Predeceased by his parents Louis and Marie Aarons
Predeceased by his beautiful wife Gina
Survived by their son, Alex. Also survived by his younger brother, James. 

Born and raised in Jamaica Queens inside a Haitian household. Parents Louis and Marie tried their best to contain Gary’s boundless energy.

After attending the High of Art and Design in Manhattan majoring in Photography,
He was rarely seen without a camera around his neck.
Gary then worked 30+ years as a Federal Postal worker at the JFK airport facility.
He met Gina “on the job” and the rest was history.
Gina passed in 2014 and Gary took on the challenge of raising Alex as a single dad. He met that challenge with love, immense devotion and strength resulting in an extraordinary job.

Gary loved Monster movies, comic books and Bugs Bunny cartoons.
His hobby was collecting guitars and all types of music gear.
He loved Hendrix and Ace Frehley!
The Live music scene and hanging out with his friends made him the happiest.

He loved music of all kinds and played guitar and wrote some good songs early on!
Gary leaned closer to Punk music yet his favorite bands were KISS and The Ramones - Both hail from Queens NY

His immediate family was small but Gary was surrounded and supported by dozens of close friends, most of them have known each other for decades.

Gary was loud, unique, generous and genuinely friendly to everyone he met. His laugh was unmistakable. 

He will be remembered as a loyal friend, a devoted proud father, a loving husband, a hardworking man, and someone who made life louder, funnier and brighter by simply being himself.
