Dear mom, 

     Its been a year, seems like yesterday.  Miss you everyday. I am hoping no I know you are with Irma, please tell her about everything she missed that we got to share, James and Kimberly and me finally learning to cook and clean. I miss you both soooooooooooo much. Jimbo:s in Long Beach and the other night someone was pinching him on your annervisary and hiding in closet, that"s what Bo said. I thought u were checking to see if i ran to his rescue, I did. He misses you everyday, Like you know I hated October, I hate more now, I lost all my parents in October. Talk to u again soon, love dee

The year has past. It has been a long one. You are missed every day more and more. Jimbo is fine. He has a lot of love around him. I miss our talks and your wisdom. I really could use it now. You are in my heart everyday.

To the best Mother-in-law,

Gerry was the woman I called Mom. She taught me how to cook and clean, helped me raise my children, and most importantly taught me how to be part of a family, and what having a family really meant. I will always be grateful for her love and nourishment, and for teaching me all that she did. Most of all, thank you for letting me be apart of Jimbo's life. I will always be there for him just like you were there for me. We will all miss you so much.

TO MY NEW YORK FAMILY:

I AM SO VERY SORRY TO LEARN OF AUNT GERRY'S PASSING TODAY.  MY FIRST THOUGHT WAS THAT SHE AND UNCLE JIMMY ARE FINALLY TOGETHER AGAIN.  THEN MY THOUGHTS WENT TO JIMBO AND I KNOW HOW YOU ALL WILL BE THERE FOR HIM.  WHEN I THINK OF AUNT GERRY MY MEMORIES GO TO GOOD TIMES OF OUR FAMILES GETTING TOGETHER AND THE PARTYING THAT WENT ON BETWEEN THE ADULTS...SUCH FUN..SUCH GOOD MEMORIES.  BE WELL, MY NEW YORK FAMILY, AND HANG TIGHT.  THAT'S WHAT OUR PARENTS INSTILLED IN US.  MISS YOU ALL..THINK OF YOU ALL OFTEN WITH MUCH LOVE.  REST IN PEACE, MY AUNT. I LOVE YOU.

People say time will heal my broken heart between you and my dad. I dont understand how the family and I will be able to move on from these tragedies, but I know the thought of you resting in peace helps a little.  Even though you're my great grandma, i always have felt that you were a 3rd grandmother to me. You have always been there for me. You will continue to be, but now as angel, along with my dad. Words will never be able to express how much I love you and miss you. Thank you for everything you have taught me. How to be respectful and strong. You mean more to me and my brother than you will ever know. You were the only grandparent I ever knew, and i thank God for all the time we spent together! We will always love and cherish you just as you did us. It's hard to believe you're no longer here, but I know you are finally at peace. I know you're up in heaven with grandpa, Chris and your brother, and all the other loved ones we've lost. Watch over me, and the family. You are my angel now.
