Mrs Gloria Galanti, if you could describe one word it would be ,,, LOVE , I would run into her from time to time and we would have great conversation and she say how proud she was of her kids , Paul, Michael, Diana, she would always share of of her next event with them , she would often talk about how she Miss her Husband, though tough, but she love him ever so, She was a such a beautiful lady well respected among her neighbors , and Friends , I would look for her to walk with her from the supermarket to walk her home , she was the light in a day always pleasant and sweet, what a Truly Great Lady , she will be So Missed by all
A silent tear:
Just close your eyes and you will see
All the memories that you have of me
Just sit and relax and you will find
I’m really still here inside your mind

Don’t cry for me now I’m gone
For I am in the land of song
There is no pain, there is no fear
So dry away the silent tear

Don’t think of me in dark and cold
For here I’m am, no longer old
I am in that place that is filled with love
Known to you all, as , Up above

I was blessed to have you as a coworker and friend. I will always treasure our conversations especially around Christmas and Easter. I can still taste your delicious cakes and cookies. The crocheted cross that you lovingly created still sits on my couch and I will always cherish it. You will be truly missed.

I have so many beautiful memories of Gloria Galanti, but a few memorable things stick out most. Anytime that I would visit her house she said to me , “I’ll make lunch. “ And I thought how nice maybe not too much trouble for her, but when I sat down I had nearly a five course meal in a matter of mere minutes! And with that lovely meal I always had the most wonderful conversations around her table talking about memories of when I lived across the street as a child and many happy times camping in the summer with our families. Later in the years, I had the please to have her as my guest in my home. She would wake up at dawn and have the coffee brewing. As we sat there with our coffee we’d talk about family and with tears in her eyes she told me how very happy she was that Deanna and I have each other in friendship all these years. With tears in my eyes I thanked her for having Deanna in the first place. She’s my soul sister ! As she wrote in her journal she told me “ Laura, the most important thing to remember in your life is to never stop learning! Always pick up a book or join a class! “. Those words were inspiring to me and to this day that’s what I do. What a beautiful woman inside and out and it’s been a blessing to have had her in my life. Rest In Peace with the Angels dear Gloria !

Dear Paul, Mike and Deanna,
Please accept our family's deepest condolences, I am so sorry that I can't be there in your time of grief.
I loved your mom, and some of my best memories are of the times we spent together as youngsters while our parents were hanging out. When the grown-ups were enjoying the holiday spread or barbecue or playing cards and having a few drinks, we would be doing our own thing, whether it be running around, or playing games or pretending to be The Partridge Family in your mom's basement! I hope one of you remembers that besides me lol.
Other little things stick out, like how your mom was always great with Joe. Sometimes when we got together, even if he was having a tough day and things weren't easy, he still loved and looked forward to seeing "Aunt Go-go." Or the time I slept over your house one weekend and your mom made us eggplant parm. I was skeptical until Michael, I think said "It tastes just like homemade pizza, you'll like it!" It did, and I did. Those are the things that make us family...

Aunt Gloria,
I will always miss you and remember you fondly. Thank you for being part of our lives.
Love,
Jim Flock

Mom,
Right now I just need to tell you how much I will miss you. Nothing can replace the relationship between a mother and a daughter. I will miss watching movies with you, going to craft shows, museums, and so much more. I will always hold those memories close. Rest in peace mom. Talk more soon.
