

Isaiah Adolphus Love, was a beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather & great grandfather. He was born in St. Ann, Jamaica W.I on January 11, 1932, to mother Christiana Love, and Jasper Love. On October 27, 2024, Isaiah signed off peacefully at his home in Queens, NY. He is survived by his loving wife Lurline and 7 children, Jennifer, Owen, Alroy, Rosemarie, Devon Josephine and Lorna; 12 grandkids and many great grandkids.
As a young boy, Isaiah’s passion has always been the love for family. Growing up he had limited resources, and saw the struggles his mom faced, so he left school in his early years to work in farming to support his mom, brothers and sisters. Later he would meet and married Lurline for 60+ years, the love of his life. Isaiah was a proud hard working man, an entrepreneur who became one of the best shoemaker in Jamaica, which allowed him to provide for his family. Isaiah always worked hard to never allow his wife and kids in need of anything. He made sure all his kids were educated, and in no time purchased his first house and created a safe home for his family.
Isaiah had a sarcastic funny humor, loves to dance, travel and would always put his family first. Though most of his life was spent and established in Jamaica W.I, the opportunity of going to the United States became available. Isaiah migrated to the USA in 1991. As Isaiah built his new life in the US, his work ethic and the desire to care for all his love ones continued. Isaiah always ensured not only his family in the US was taken care of, but ensured everyone back home in Jamaica was as well. Isaiah touch so many lives with his generosity, he will be missed by his family and friends.
A visitation for Isaiah will be held Sunday, November 24, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at R. Stutzmann & Son, 224-39 Jamaica Ave, Queens Village, New York 11428. A morning visitation will occur Monday, November 25, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home. Followed by a prayer service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The cemetery interment will follow from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Pinelawn Memorial Park and Arboretum, 2030 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY 11735.
