

Passed away peacefully on March 14, 2012 at age 94. Daughter of the late William Christopher Sr. and Laura Jane Hayes. Beloved sister of the late William C. Boyle Jr., Edward C. Boyle, Francis C. Boyle, and Harry Boyle. Survived by her nieces Jane F. Haderer, Patricia Ann Boyle, Beryl Nocerino, and Georgia Pease; and nephews, William E. Boyle, Philip T. Boyle, Harry P. Boyle, Joseph F. Boyle, and Michael E. Boyle. Beloved aunt of the late Edward K. Boyle, Ellen Jane Boyle, and Winifred Boyle. Survived by many grand and great-grandnieces and nephews. Close relatives through marriage: Philip Haderer, Karen Czekay, Fay Boyle, Chantelle Boyle, and the late Mildred Boyle. Graduated from Bay Ridge H.S. in June 1937. Joined the US Navy in October 1943 as a Pharmacist’s Mate 2nd Class and was honorably discharged in November 1945. Worked 30 years at the Bronx Veterans Administration Hospital as an electroencephalograph technician retiring in 1975. Known to all as “Aunt Jane” she was a kind and caring person who was very generous to her family and friends. Her interests were ink and pencil drawings, and she enjoyed playing scrabble with her brother, Harry. Cared for to the end by three wonderful ladies: Betty, Claudette, and Aida. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery will follow the 9:45 AM Mass of the Resurrection on March 20th at Incarnation R.C. Church in Queens Village, NY.
