Joan Margaret Andren

ANDREN – Joan Margaret of Queens Village, N.Y. Entered into eternal life on January 31, 2018 She was a long time nurse at St. Mary Immaculate Hospital working as a baby nurse. She had a nursing career that spanned over many years and retired from St. Mary Immaculate. She had many passions such as reading and tending to her flower garden in the spring and summer. She loved taking pictures and she was very devoted to her parish; Our Lady of Lourdes. She was the beloved sister of Genevieve Boehlke and the late Winifred Milnes and Loretta Andren. Dear daughter of the late Thorild and Sarah Andren. She was loved and will be missed by her nieces, Loreen Parker, Kathleen Polverelli, her nephew Gerald Boehlke and their families. She will also be dearly missed by her 3 god children; Barbara Carlson, Mary Pancake and Timothy O’Toole. Friends may visit Sunday Feb 4th, 2-4 and 7-9pm at The R. Stutzmann & Son Funeral Home, 224-39 Jamaica Avenue Queens Village, NY. Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes RC Church Monday, Feb 5th @ 9:45 am with a cremation to follow. Interment of her Cremains will be at a later date at St. Johns Cemetery Middle Village, NY.
