

Julia Rodriguez, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 2, 2026. Born on February 2, 1942 in Cataño, Puerto Rico. Julia lived a life filled with love, laughter, family, and cherished traditions.
Julia was the devoted daughter of Victor & Monica S. Rivera. Born in Puerto Rico and raised in New York, she embraced both cultures throughout her life, carrying her heritage with pride and sharing it generously with those around her.
A loving and dedicated mother, Julia is survived by her sons, Victor & Frank, and her daughters, Lydia & Maria. She was the proud grandmother of six grandchildren and was blessed with great-grandchildren who brought immense joy to her later years. Julia was preceded in death by her beloved son, Felix, whose memory she carried in her heart every day and who is survived by his father, Carlos, 2 more sisters, Sandra and Amanda, his son, Felix, Jr., his daughter Monica, their sister Keisha and his granddaughter River.
Julia is also survived by her cherished sister, Isabel Rodriguez, with whom she shared an unparalleled bond of love, friendship, and unwavering support. Their sisterhood was a source of strength and comfort throughout their lives. She is further survived by her brother and two stepbrothers, all of whom held a special place in her heart and were an important part of her extended family.
To know Julia was to know someone who truly celebrated life. She was a passionate foodie, an exceptional cook whose meals brought family and friends together around her table. Her kitchen was a place of comfort, laughter, and love. Julia enjoyed shopping, decorating for herself and others. She further enjoyed listening to music, dancing, attending cultural events, and gatherings with family and friends. She had a remarkable ability to make every occasion special, and every person feel welcomed and loved.
Julia will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, generous heart, strength, and unwavering devotion to her family. She found joy in bringing people together, preserving family traditions, and creating lasting memories. Her love created a foundation that will continue to guide and inspire generations to come.
While her absence leaves an immeasurable void, her legacy lives on through her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, siblings, extended family, and the many friends whose lives she touched with her kindness and warmth.

Visitation will be held at R. Stutzmann & Son, 224-39 Jamaica Ave, Queens Village, NY 11428, US, on June 6, 2026, from 1:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
A Funeral Service will take place on June 6, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 3:30 pm.
