Luis A. Martinez Jr. 57, Queens, NY, passed away May 19, 2020. Luis was born May 16, 1963 in the Bronx, NY to Luis A. and Hilda (Ramos) Martinez. He enjoyed all sports, was an avid reader and his favorite pastime was cooking for his family. He enjoyed going on vacation with his family. He could make a simple story into a comedy event and had an infectious laugh! He is survived by his parents, Luis and Hilda Martinez, his sister, Nancy Harris and her husband Kevin, his brother Frankie Martinez and his wife Jane, and several loving uncles and cousins. His wings were ready but our hearts were not.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to be made to the American Heart Association/Advanced Heart Failure.

In Loving Memory of my Big Brother!

Day by day, I think of you. How can all of this be true? I can't believe you're really gone;
I still can't accept it, My mind knows you are in a better place, where there is no pain. You are at peace. I understand that, I just wish I could explain that to my heart. I miss you with all of my heart!

I know you're always by my side! I am not going to say goodbye. So I will just say “See you Later” !

You were my brother
and my best friend.
I will always love you, Nancy

In Loving Memory of my Cousin

God looked around His Garden,
and He found an empty place.
He then looked down upon this Earth,
and saw your tired face.
He put his arms around you,
And lifted you to rest.
God's Garden must be beautiful, He always takes the Best.
He knew that you would never get well on earth again.
He saw that the road was getting rough and the Hill's were hard to climb,
So he closed your weary eyelids, and whispered"Peace be thine".
It broke our hearts to loose you, but you didn't go alone.
For part of us went with you, the day God called you Home.

Love Your Cousin,
