Maria Dolores Alvarado, age 92, loving mom of 3 and Abu to 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, passed away on Monday, May 6, 2024. Dolores was influenced by her family to be a loving, caring and generous woman. She moved to New York where she lived with her sister and soon met Samuel Alvarado and married in March, 1959. They were blessed to have a family and raised them in Howard Beach, Queens. She was a wonderful mother, a great neighbor and faithful friend. Everyone was welcome for a meal. She even became involved with Howard Beach Assembly of God and helped out with their VBS in her later years.
