Siempre te recordaré como la persona alegre, positiva, generosa y valiente. Compartimos muchos momentos especiales en el colegio, largas conversaciones en la ruta del bus, alegría y lágrimas después de los partidos de basketball, fiestas de cumpleaños cuando éramos pequeñas. Tu siempre con una sonrisa y palabras lindas para compartir. 
Le pido a Dios que le dé mucha fortaleza y entendimiento a James y a toda tu familia, porque sé que dejas un vacío muy grande en sus corazones. 
Amiga, vuela alto y descansa en La Paz del Señor.

Caro, what a sad and unexpected news. In some way, even as years go by and we might not  see each other, I always carry with me the memories of our school years and all those we grew up with, because they are an important part of our lives and our memory forever. I remember you always having a smile in your face.

Your time on this earth left an indelible mark. From our childhood, your great heart always shone through in your brotherhood and warmth.

I was fortunate to share very special moments with you. Although life took us down different paths, in our adult lives every encounter, however brief, felt close and meaningful. You knew how to make my wife and children feel part of that affection that was so uniquely yours.

Today I thank you deeply for the time, love, and companionship you gave my parents.

I cherish the best memories and your example of kindness, unconditional help, and devotion to your family and all those around you.

Carolina was a true sweetheart. Always smiling and always comforting.  She especially brought smiles to me whenever she around or on the phone.

Que el amor de Dios abrace hoy sus corazones y les dé la fortaleza que  necesitan. 
Carolina fue un pedacito de cielo que iluminó la vida de todos los que la conocían con su ternura y su amor.  Aunque su partida duele profundamente, su esencia jamás se irá; vivirá en cada latido, en cada recuerdo, sonrisa y en todo el amor que dejó sembrado. 
Que encuentren paz en la certeza de que ahora descansa en los brazos de Dios, y que desde el cielo los seguirá cuidando siempre. 
Los acompaño con todo mi cariño y mis oraciones, para que Díos les de las fuerzas y la fortaleza necesaria.

We only knew Carolina for a short time, but long enough for her to leaving a lasting imprint on our hearts. She radiated love, joy, and warmth. Rest in peace and joy, Sweet Lady!

Even though I didn’t know Carolina well, every time we saw each other she was always full of warmth and love.

Oh, Maria. I am so sorry this is how it has to be. I will miss you yelling at me to get out the bathroom (I was for sure playing on my phone during work hours lol). Your co workers loved you, the patients adored you. You are now with God and free of any pain. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Hoy mi corazón se llena de un profundo dolor al despedir a mi querida sobrina María Carolina Rodríguez, quien partió el 1 de abril.

María Carolina no solo fue una excelente optómetra, dedicada a ayudar a otros a ver el mundo con mayor claridad, sino también una mujer deportista, fuerte y llena de vida. Pero, por encima de todo, fue ese ser especial que siempre tenía una sonrisa para mí… una sonrisa que iluminaba cualquier momento y que hoy guardaré como uno de mis recuerdos más valiosos.

Su hermosa forma de ser, su calidez y su alegría dejan una huella imborrable en mi vida y en la de todos los que tuvimos la fortuna de amarla. Y cómo no recordar su voz alegre cuando nos decía: “Hola tiaa. Hola tioo”, una expresión tan suya que hoy resuena en el alma y nos arranca lágrimas, pero también una dulce sonrisa.

Hoy, su partida nos duele profundamente, pero su amor y su luz permanecerán vivos en cada uno de nosotros.

En nombre de toda la familia Lancheros Cortés, elevamos una oración por su descanso eterno y agradecemos a Dios por el privilegio de haber compartido su vida con nosotros.

Querida María Carolina, te llevarémos siempre en nuestro corazón. Tu luz, tu energía y tu sonrisa vivirán eternamente en mí.

I’ve known Carolina for a long time, though we never spoke again. One of my strongest memories is when we rode bikes with her dad. Carolina fell hard that day, but even after a few tears, she stood back up, and we kept riding. I want to send my deepest condolences to her parents, who were always such great friends. I’ll always remember Carolina’s strength. And I take comfort in knowing that, as Romans 8:28 says, in all things God works for the good of those who love him. Even in this pain, there is a purpose we may not see yet.
