Jan , my friend for more than forty years. I so appreciate the relationship we had over these many years. We loved each other dearly, confided in each other and could trust each other.  I watched you grow from the teenager I met on the subway in New York to the professional nurse, wife and mother you became. Even though we lived for years in two different states our friendship remained strong; we didn’t have to call each day or week, but when we spoke it was as though we just spoke to each other yesterday. The friendship developed into a sister bond as we became part of each other’s family, that was special and will be greatly missed. You are the only person I know who would drag me out of my house to go to the beach when you visit Florida. You were upfront and honest , always keeping it real. Thank you. For the many times you showed up at my church and was so bold to announce yourself as my best friend, that everyone knew who you were, thank you.  Our travels together were also amazing , but our Asian cruise was most memorable of them all. I am so happy that I got to spend some time with you before you left us and though I wished I could have been at your bedside, the memories I hold will remain precious for eternity. My family and I sincerely miss you, but take your rest my friend, you did run well but the journey  has ended. I surrender you to the arms and peace of our precious Lord. Love you always. My condolences to the Family. Ms Jermain and I worked at the same facility for many years. We had our differences but she did her work well. When she was leaving us I wished her well not knowing it was goodbye . May you all find peace and comfort in the life she lived. Again, my condolences.

Worked with Marie Germain RN at SJEH. She was loving, kind, & compassionate in her nursing care delivery. She exemplified our profession, and I wish to extend my deepest & sincerest condolences to her family. We not only lost a great Nurse to the Heavens, but truly a beautiful human being. Thanks for being my friend Ms. Germain. Rest in Power with our Almighty in his glorious kingdom.  Until we meet again....
