My heart is torn losing you. You have taught me and my sister to be independent, loving and strong minded woman . You were the laughter our mom needed when she needed her partner in crime . I will never forget the Sunday Church service , the life lessons you gave me and what I needed for my future . Always told me to have pure heart no matter what situation I’m in . You were not just friend to my mom but you were her mother. You always will be my grandma LuLu

Love always

Mammi Cocotte was a second mother to my siblings and I. Before party planner existed she was already playing the role in our lives. She planned my first communion where my mom had no time due to her busy schedule. She also planned my engagement and wedding. She never missed any important even that occured in our lives. With her bargain hunting skills, she always managed to provide us with everything that needed whether it was schools opening, parties and special events. Thank to her, we were always well put together. She was also a very open minded and never hesitated to voice her opinion. Throughout our young age, she was our chaperon at musical events such as "Kassav". She will be forever remembered.

I am at a loss for adequate words to express my grief for your family. I had the blessed opportunity of knowing the lovely Cocotte and I know heaven just received one of its most special angels. You guys are a reflection of Cocotte in the way you guys treat people with respect and empathy, not to mention the way you guys make each person feel loved. I am so sorry for your loss. I Know the love and support of a mother can never be replaced, but I hope you find some strength, in the love of family and in the warm embrace of friends.

Cocotte was my cousin, my confidant, my historian and my comedian. Thanks to her I know a lot about my family especially the eldest ones that departed before I was born. Cocotte, your memories will stay in my heart forever. We will continue our conversations until we meet again.
Sleep in peace Cuz!

Times like these words are hard to come out.

I have known you and Cocotte since 1976. And as always when ever we meet it’s like we just met yesterday. Cocotte’s warmth smile is always a heart warming to the soul.

Bob you and your family should take heart that Marie Esther is in a better place now.

May you rest in everlasting peace Marie Esther Ulysse.

Cocotte cherie,
tu nous as juste devancées.

It was both with shock and sadness to hear of the passing of our dear Cocotte. The memories we shared over the past 40+ years will be cherished and forever dear in our hearts. We started our family with you around and raised our children with you around, our children will forever share a bond with you and your family. Your home was always warm with gifts, food and laughter, these moments we will treasure.

Cocotte, we will meet in the after life, and your presence was always welcome. It was good to know you, and my dear brother Bob.

We love you dearly, and will always love your family.
Love Meiz, Annick and Family
