I remember the moments we shared together ,,he was always larger than life to me ,The few memories  I have of him was playing baseball and catch at Big Anne's house. the Last time I saw him was at Billy's wedding ..he Smiled and said hello to me and the usual things like how are you doing..  I wish I was more involved in his life, There was a age gap .and  we lived a state away.. I also remember the few times he came over to our house in New Jersey...I was just thinking of him and i typed  his name and his face came up with this website And I thought I'd say a few  words.. my heart goes out to Sharon and  family,,    My mother,, his aunt Died a few months after Marty  From cancer,No specific type because it spread everywhere before they even found where it came from.. I was with her every step of the way till her last breath..She was so sad that Marty passed ,,we all were ..     Then we got quickly consumed by her cancer Diagnosis ..  rip  Marty i'll never forget you ..   

Marty and I grew up together in Q.V.He was known as the "mean machine"on the basketball courts.Aside from Mike F.Marty was the best on the courts of P.S.33.He learned his skills at Braddock Pk and brought his talents to 33!He had this move where he would "kindly"move you out of the way with his arm and nail a 20 footer.He was a starter on the varsity at Mater Christi H.S. and played college ball too.Most of all Marty was was a good friend to be with I'm sure I speak for Eddie,Gary,Vinnie and George when I say that we'll miss the big guy!.My condolences go out to the Fressle/Patton families on behalf of the Lovari family.Sincerly,Tom and Kim Lovari

I am not sure I ever met Marty - perhaps at Eric's wedding.  He sure looks like Eric.  My sympathy to the family.

I would like to offer my deepest sympathy to family and friends of Martin. It's times like these when the loving promises of our Heavenly Father such as knowing that we can see our loved ones again can bring us comfort and soften some of the pain we feel in our hearts. 1 Thessalonians 4: 13,14

To The Fressle and Patton Families, We are all going to miss Marty. Marty was a great guy, husband, father and basketball player. Marty had an infectious smile and laugh, which was contagious to all us laddy's from OLL, P.S. 33, The Triangle, Braddock Park, Cedar Lanes, and The 3 C's. Marty took the time out of his days in the schoolyard and taught me how to rebound a basketball, like a real man. On and off the court, he was truly a man I wanted to emulate.
