McKenzie Miller Jr. was born on November 27, 1934, in Bellevue Hospital in New York to the late McKenzie and Susan Weathers Miller. McKenzie lived with his parents and his late brother Robert in Manhattan, where he graduated from Erasmus High School. He was also a dedicated baptized servant of Jehovah God.
Mack, as he was affectionately known to all, moved to Queens where he started his career at Jamaica Bus Co. as a Bus Driver in 1969. He became a Supervisor, and took the title with him when he went to the MTA, where he retired on February 14, 2013.
Mack met his wife, Margo in 1974 in Queens Village, where he courted her until she finally said yes to marriage in 1985.
Mack’s passions in life were his family, sports, music, and history. He may just have been one of the History Channel’s biggest fans. An equal rival to his love of history was his love of music. Many a day his melodious voice could be heard singing throughout the house.
Mack was well known and liked by everyone he met. There wasn’t much he would not do for his fellow human being. His warm, generous heart added light to the world of those who knew him, and he surely will be missed.
Mack is survived by his wife, Margo, daughters Nicole, Roxanne and Ashley, sons McKenzie, Gregory, Keith (who preceded him in death) and Kenneth, Ten grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
