I can not believe it’s been a year since Natalie has left this world. I shared with Mirelva that I recently had a dream where Natalie was laughing , that contagious, robust laugh over a joke she had played. I admire Nat for always having optimism and kindness also knowing when to laugh it off. I remember her fondly and my heart goes out to her wonderful family. My thoughts are with you. 

Sending my heartfelt condolences to the entire Fouche family. I miss you all and have many fond memories of our time together. I remember Patrick taking Natalie, who was still in a car carrier to see the movie “Total Recall.”  She was such an easy baby, slept through the whole experience. Patrick loved telling everyone what a great baby she was and how much he loved Natalie.  Thinking  of you all.  Paul Kokkinides

I was not close friends with Natalie but I worked with her. Want her family to know even those who lightly got the chance to meet her, only nice things can be said. She was a beautiful person.

My fondest memory of Natalie was walking down the same aisle during the beautiful wedding of my sister and brother-in-law and remembering her warmth, positive energy, and fun personality. We also shared our mutual excitement with each other about being sisters. Even though we did not see each other as much as we would have liked, whenever we did connect I always felt a bond.

We celebrate Natalie's life, mourn her loss, and consider it an honor and privilege to have known her for many years.

I remember Natalie as a very intelligent, vibrant young lady, who always wore a GREAT BIG SMILE! I had the good fortune to teach her in my math class at SFP.
She had the a wonderful way of showing compassion for others and sharing her positive outlook on life.
I am truly saddened by her passing.

It was an honor to be Natalie’s teammate and spend a couple years of our teenhood together. I was a senior when this photo was taken, and you girls were still new to high school! Natalie was such a fun and sweet person and a talented tennis player. I am so lucky to have known her. 

My heart is deeply sadden to learn of your passing.  All the  laughter and joy we shared during rehearsals  will be with me always.    The  Incarnation Gospel Choir  provided us with a place to sing, learn  and make friends.  The,  concert performances for charity showed us the importance of giving to others in need.   I remember the solo  you sang so beautifully during one of those concerts.   We looked forward  to seeing each other each Friday to catch up on pop culture, movies  middle school and high school life.  You made a lasting impression on me and all those around you. You will be missed.

I met Natalie while I was in college at the Emma L. Bowen summer conference. Since day one of coming in contact with her she was nothing but a beautiful soul and beautiful person. Always happy and able to radiate her joy to others. Heaven has definitely gained an angel and she will forever and always be missed. 

Natalie went to HS with my best friend, Brandon . We all attended and graduated from Marist together.

I always admired Natalie’s radiant aura. It was tangible and so bright ! Her grace and confidence could light up any room.

I rest assured you are in a beautiful place, Natalie. You always inspired people to do better and to be better. 

I feel lucky to have known you for the brief time that I did.

Our hearts are deeply saddened by the news of Natalie’s passing.  The exuberance as the flower girl in her brother’s wedding to our daughter remained as she grew into a beautiful young woman.  Though she could share life with us for too short a time, we have all been blessed having her among us.

Nat-
I’m sure your laughing at me up in the heavens as I struggle here to string together a couple of sentences while you effortlessly wrote full movie scripts. Fact is anyone that had the privilege of knowing you knew you were truly a special person, they could have met you once and would have known. You are strong, brave, beautiful and unapologetic-in the best way possible. You knew what you wanted, what you were after and you never settled for less and taught me to do the same, and for that I thank you. I don’t doubt that your beautiful soul will always be with me especially when I pull up to the Dunkin drive thru because everyone knows we loved our DD runs together. You’ve given me some of the best days, night and years of my life in college and for years after. I’ll miss our city dinner dates, our years as roommates, hearing your LOUD laugh randomly and your smile but I’m comforted by knowing you will always be with me now and are free to travel and learn, explore and love just as you would want. May you rest easy my beautiful best friend and watch all the comedies that made you laugh, dance to David Guetta on the fly, sing/rap versus of Ludacris and be happy and pain free. You will always be in my heart and I look forward to the next time we will meet again when we can go back to a time we’re we can be “young and hopeful” which was your last text to me.

What a sadness!  A beautiful, young, talented woman has ended her time with us and is now with our God.  Our consolation is that we all benefited from her life.

I met Natalie as a young girl and watched her grow into an amazing young  woman.  I was privileged  to  have spent 14 days with her as we toured Japan a few years ago.  She was always full of energy and ready to try new things. Watching her embrace every part of the Japanese culture made the experience that much more enjoyable for me.  Thank You for pulling me out of my comfort zone only you could have gotten me to try something new.

RIP Natalie I will miss running into you and hearing about your adventures.

My heart hurts. I met Natalie in the TV/Film department of Marist College. We quickly bonded over our shared love of all things entertainment (she was like an encyclopedia of movie knowledge). We had classes together, worked on films together and eventually just hung out together. Although we haven't seen each other in a while, we remained in touch. I will never forget her kindness, passion and bright smile. I know she'll be directing a big budget picture in heaven. Sending you all my love.

I met Natalie a few years ago at the Barnes & Noble in Forest Hills, NYC. We crossed paths and from our first conversation regarding the horror genre I knew she was something special. What ensued was a good few years of discussing media, encouraging each other in the creative arts, and sharing a taste for japanese noodle dishes. Natalie always saw me as a little brother, as she met me in my late teens/early 20s, and always had wisdom to share, wisdom that aided me during my tenure in college.

She will be missed, but her memory will never be forgotten. My condolences to her family and anyone reading this.

We are deeply sorry to hear about the passing of Nathalie Marika Fouché.
We know she was a source of immeasurable joy to her parents, brothers , and family, and so many others.

While I never met Natalie, I was asked by someone if I would be willing to talk to her and give her tips and insight on what life and teaching in South Korea would be like, as I had taught there several years prior. So we bonded one night over the phone and kept up with one another on social media. I am glad she got to fulfill the dream she had of going to Korea. I am very sad to hear of her passing.  May the memories bring you comfort during this difficult time. 

I'm so terribly sorry and shocked to hear of Natalie's passing. She and I grew up playing tennis together and against each other in high school and even in college. While we have lost touch over the years, I always have the fondest of memories of Natalie. My boyfriend of 11 years ironically knows Natalie from middle school and high school and he's the one who broke the news of her passing to me. We were both shaken by the news despite not having seen or spoken to her in years showing the incredible impact she had on people. She was a true friend on and off the tennis court. RIP Natalie, a true angel.  

We have not been in regular contact for years, but you were such an important part of my high school years. I regret saying, "We should catch up some time!" but then some time never came. 

I just kept hearing your voice and seeing your pictures on Facebook and Instagram. All of these milestones would just stream through the screen and I would see pictures of your time in Korea, snippets of your writing, markers of your adventures abroad, film recommendations—social media made it so easy to forget how long it had actually been. It brought you so much closer but at the same time, it distracted me from how much time was passing by.

I remember meeting you in Mr. Devesin's Global History class Freshman year—you, me, and Brenner--the three of us were such a bizarre trio of friends who derived so much joy from being “almost twins”.  Due to the unjustness of alphabetical seating, we were always far enough that we couldn't cause too much of a ruckus (but honestly, anytime silliness ensued it was because of Brenner) but sharing the same walls gave me enough time to feel your joy and laughter.

I had this vivid flashback to when we went ice skating back in high school-- I remember you admiring the pristine white skates that some of the girls wore while I struggled to stuff my feet into those rental skates that you could smell a mile away. I remember you hyping me up to your mom and saying I was “sooo smart” but the whole time I just thought I was a weird nerd. But you didn't let me default to that as an easy excuse. You saw me. And a girl needs friends like that growing up. 

I send much love to your family and loved ones. I am so sorry for your loss—Natalie was such a vibrant life and I am lucky to have just had a glimpse of her in my life.
