Noreen, my partner in crime as a kid. As sad as it was today I know you are smiling down and trying to comfort us.

I will never forget the time we spent at our grandmother Maime's apartment growing up as kids. The games were fun and the memories are still so real to me. We survived the violent South Bronx, our families alcoholic history and so much more. And you did it with a smile. Your kids are fantastic and will carry on your legacy. Everyone of your friends and co-workers all talked about your smile, compassion and how you made them feel better.

I am very sad today, but happy thinking about memories with you as a kid.

RIP my once-in-a-lifetime cousin and say hello to your mom for us.

Love always

Jimmy

Dearest Denett family,
Noreen will always have a special place in my heart. She was always willing to help but more importantly, support me when I reached out as I was “training” as pupil accounting secretary at PS/IS295! She will be missed
May she rest in eternal peace🙏🏻

Deepest sympathies,
Rosella

This is a very hard loss to process. She was not LIKE a second mother to me, she WAS my second mother. Her fun spirit and kindness during our toughest times is what I will remember most. She will never be forgotten. To her children, you know you are my brothers and sisters forever. SPRINGFIELD.
