In every shadow of life lies death and nothing tears the heart most like when a loved one departs.  Nothing seems to fill that emptiness you feel inside after that special love is gone.  But remember that our loved ones are never gone unless they are really forgotten.  Life is a precious gift from God.  Some of us have the opportunity to live it, some of us just exist, and some of us just die young--- but be encouraged and know, our loved ones gone are in a better place looking down on us. 
I was told our destiny was written as God breathe the breath of life in our being and His plan becomes evident in our every joy and every sorrow.  Even though at times His plan does not make sense there is always a hidden purpose behind every occurrence in our lives.  
God knew Steve’s immense pain and suffering and He thought it was time He brought him home.  Even though Steve was ill, I never expected him to leave us so soon.  He will truly be missed but the memories and foot prints he left behind will live on.                                                                                                                                           Like all of you, I am deeply saddened to see him go...I just wished I spoke with him more often.   Rest in Peace, my dear cousin and may the Lord bless your soul with eternal life.   
My sincere condolence to the whole family.  My prayers and thoughts are with all of you.  The journey to recovery will be a long and winding road glazed with grief, loss of his presence and love, and even with regrets.  Stay strong in your faith and continue to watch out for each other….Eventually you will have to allow your hearts to beat again…

Stevie was my brother-in-law but because we grew up together I  have  always seen  him as a big brother. I can remember vividly how he used  to watch over me and his sister Mala closely. He never wanted us to be sad. Stevie, thank you for being there for us, loving and guiding us. You will be sorely missed.Rest in Peace my brother🙏

Uncle Stevie, you have touched the lives of so many people and you will be sincerely missed by myself and the rest of our family. I will never forget my trips to New York, where you always went above and beyond to welcome my parents and I into your home. You were uniquely generous with your time. You would go to unmeasurable lengths to make sure that we were happy and you did so with such grace and patience.  You loved your family and friends and I will forever treasure the memories that we have shared together. Thank you for being my uncle.

My dear cousins, my heart goes out to you for your loss. Stevie will be sorely missed. Even though his physical presence is no longer with you, his memory will continue to live on in each of you.

Grandpa Stevie,I will miss you very much. When I visited New York the love that you and your family had shown to me will always be in my heart. When you  visited Guyana I had fun times with you.You promised me that you will visit us next year again. Now that you are gone I have treasured memories  of you. Rest In Peace grandpa Stevie.🙏

Steve will always be alive in my memories. My most memorable memories of Steve was his competition in the cycling race in high school and the support that he gave me when I competed myself in athletic events. He was a very organized, caring, unselfish, and generous person. Although Steve is only just above a year older than me, I always felt that he was much older because he always acted and behaved like a mature person even when we were kids. He loved his kids, Amanda and Austin, more than anything else in the World and he was always there for his relatives and friends. You are a remarkable brother and I will treasure the memories that I shared with you.

Thank you for being my brother and sharing your life with me. Thank you for showing me the value of patience and kindness. Thank you for showing me that presence can be felt not only by words but also silence, humility and simple smiles. Thank you for showing me the gratitude and satisfaction that come from  helping others. Thank you for always being there when needed. Thank you for being my brother. You have left but will never be forgotten. Rest in the peace you so deserve.

Our dear cousin Stevie ..the most kind, always helpful and respectful will be tremendously missed!...Although the quiet type, his word was good as gold! Can't believe my friend and coworker is gone . Steve was a wonderful man . Never heard him utter an unkind word or complain about anything. You will be greatly missed. The world has been diminished by your loss. May you Rest in Peace 

My heart hurts after hearing the sudden news about Uncle Stevie.  He was such a wonderful and happy man 🥺❤️.  We will all miss him dearly.  My deepest condolences and blessings go out to Austin, Amanda, and Aunty Desiree.  🙏🏼

Steve was such a pleasant and kind person, always smiling and cheerful.  I am shocked and so sadden by his sudden departure.  My heart breaks for my cousin Desiree and their two lovely children.  I looked through all the beautiful memories shared and I can tell he lived a good life with his loving family. I pray that the Lord grant him eternal peace and rest.  RIP dear Steve. You will be missed. 🙏🏽

Uncle Steve was so selfless and always had a smile on his face. His laugh was so contagious! Summer vacations with the family was always memorable. He always was there to make sure we were having fun and he spoiled us a lot. I will forever cherish those memories and the light he was to many. 

Steve was such a funny, kind and loving uncle. Living in different continents  meant that we could never see each other as often as we would like to; so every encounter with him was a treasured memory. 
He made my brother and I laugh so much  and made a lot of time  to be with us. An especially  fond memory of him was his love of dancing to soca music. Even with so much distance between us, I always knew that he deeply cared for us and that would never change .
It breaks our hearts that we can never see him again, or say goodbye.
Rest well our lovely and kind uncle. 


My dear brother’s untimely death has come as a deep shock to us beyond words. He was always thoughtful, honest and industrious.He will be greatly missed by all his siblings.It is difficult to convey my deep sadness but my deepest sympathy are with his wife and children. I do hope that the love my brother had shared with his family will help comfort them in the days ahead. He is a great loss to all of us. He is in a better place  now.🙏
