

His last year was spent coping with terminal bile duct cancer and therefore in lieu of flowers a donation would be appreciated to fighting cancer.
His lengthy career in the aviation industry and love for aviation included working for Lockheed, Eastern Airlines, FedEx and even being recruited to work at the Garden City chapter of the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration).
Having worked a passionate career spanning over 50 years of dedicated service to the aviation industry, he was awarded the prestigious Charles Taylor award for Master Mechanic, honoring his legacy on a wall within the FAA DC Headquarters.
As an avid fisherman and hunter, he was an outdoorsman who also enjoyed gardening and skiing and was a life long member of the Norway Ski Club.
He is survived by his wife, 3 children and 1 grandson.
A visitation will be held at R. Stutzmann & Son, located at 224-39 Jamaica Ave, Queens Village, NY 11428, on September 25, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A gathering and final prayer will take place at the same venue on September 26, 2025, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am.
The burial will be held at Flushing Cemetery, located at 163-06 46th Ave, New York, NY 11358, on September 26, 2025, from 11:00 am to 11:30 am.
