It’s been a year with out you here. I’ve done so much that I’ve wish you could see throughout this year. I miss your voice. I miss your hugs. I miss your laugh. I miss dancing with you. I miss spending Halloween’s with you. I miss watching movies with you. I can’t wait to see you again. I love you daddy I miss you so much!

The last message I just wrote took up too many characters, and when I moved to fit it all in, it was deleted. I freaked out for a minute. Then I realized: that's between you and me. YOU already read it! So, I'll just say that it's been 365 days without you here. 365 days of change and tears and inspiration in the weirdest things. 365 days of talking to your Urn, the butterflies, the sky, and the veggies I'm growing in my garden. 365 days of seeing you places I know you're not. 365 days of things forever left unsaid. The only constant is your absence, and that's not okay.    But the lessons keep coming, and I'm taking notes. I miss you every day. I know I'll never not miss you. I'll love you forever and ever. I'll see you again on the other side, when I'm ready. ❤️

Today is 6 months since you left us. It's another beautiful day. The weather is about the same as it was your last day here. The birds are singing and the sun is shining. This would be a day for us to drive. Anywhere. Nowhere. Just get in the car, put the windows down and the volume up, and just go. You love this weather almost as much as 2 feet of snow. And driving in both. But now you fly. I can't describe how much I miss you or how much it hurts every day that you're gone. I love you. 

I spent so many years just wishing I could make a decision about my own life, without needing to consult you. And now, here I am, making decisions about my own life....and can't consult you! Every time I've ever been uncertain about what moves to make, you've helped me figure it out (or stopped me in my tracks 😏). Even being sure of myself, I feel like we need to sit across the table about it first. But I know you're with me. You're supporting my decisions, and watching my back. Mariah narrated our entire life together, and she still is. These last couple weeks, I have the same verse running through my mind on a loop. And I know you put it there.:

Happy heavenly birthday my little brother. Not a day goes by that I don’t think of you and miss you. I think of you and see your smile. Oh, how I miss that joker smile!!! Your smile would light up any & every room you walked into. It helped that your personality was just as big as your heart. You had a heart of gold, That’s why you were who you were and everyone who knew you loved you. When you loved you loved whole heartedly and unconditionally. You were the greatest brother, most loving son, an amazing Uncle. I am so lucky to have you as my brother. We all miss you and love you so much. I know you are still with me and you will forever remain in my heart. I cherish all of the times we have shared and miss them so much. This has been the hardest thing I have ever gone through in my life. You were not only my brother you were my best friend.  We had been through so much together, it was always you and I against the world. There is a huge piece of my heart missing that only you can fill.  I want you to know I hear you and I know you are still with me and you always will be. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve gone to call you. I would do anything to just hug you one more time my little brother. I don’t know what’s gods plan but I know it must be big for him to have taken you home so soon. So, this is our first Christmas without you here. I never thought I'd see the day. I wish like hell I never had to. Of all the things that will never be right again, without you here, Christmastime will be at the very top of that list forever. I've never seen anyone love this day as much as you. You made me love Christmas because I loved watching you love Christmas. You reminded me to be a kid and enjoy it, too. Thank goodness Taylor took after you on that one! She's the most amazing gift I've ever received. Thank you so much for my favorite Christmas gift of all time. I promise to take the very best care of her. I love you. I'll be checking the clouds for shapes of snowmen. I'll know that's you. Merry First Heavenly Christmas. ☃️🎄❤️

I keep hearing "how has it been a month already?" But, how does it feel like the longest decade? I still can't believe it's you in here. I never knew I could hurt like this, but I find strength in knowing your pain is gone and you get to be free from everything that didn't serve your soul's happiness, and I'm glad to know that I got to be such a major part of your happiness. Even in our worst moments, Robby, our egos took a backseat to our souls. Thank you for sharing a lifetime of unconditional love with me. The good, the bad, and the ugly, there's nobody else I would have rather traversed these last 30 years with. Thank you. I love you always. 

Robby, Growing up you were always with us. The cutest sidekick a girl could ask for. We had the best childhood just being kids.  If I wasn't at your house you were at my house. If we weren’t roaming the streets of QV we were at Braddock park or on some crazy adventure to the city. We had the best times living the best years of our lives. Those memories will live in my heart forever. I will never forget the sweet, kind, brave, loving man you were. I’m so glad I got to see you recently. That means a lot to me. We all celebrated you upstate last week and all shared our stories. We even sang your song. You will never be forgotten and I will always love you. Rest easy my little brother and watch over your family.

Ohh my baby brother I already miss you so much!! My heart is broken, it will never be the same. God called you home and it still seems surreal. I cannot believe that you’re gone and I will never be able to hug you ever again and hear you tell me I love you sis!!! It was always you and I against the world.  A piece of me is missing. A huge piece!!! No one will ever replace you baby. I hope you and daddy are enjoying a ice cold beer and listening to Mariah Carey.
