It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of David Duong on August 13th, 2025, who passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family in Dorchester, MA.

A brave soul who graced our lives with compassion and benevolence. His presence will surely be missed. He may have passed on, but his genuine smile and kind acts live on in our hearts.

David is survived by his wife Mary and five children, Peter, Jenny, Dung Khanh and Cuong. He also leaves behind ten grandchildren and three great- grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to honor David’s life on Tuesday, August 19th at Deware Funeral Home, 576 Hancock Street, Quincy, MA. Visitation will begin at 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral mass will be at Saint Ambrose, Dorchester on August 20th, 2025 at 10:00 AM, followed by burial service at 12:00 PM located at St. Benedict Cemetery, 409 Corey Street, Boston, MA.
