Mr Douglas W. Murphy Sr

MURPHY, DOUGLAS W. SR. of Quincy, MA, passed away Wednesday March 2, 2011 in the Quincy Hospital, at the age of 65 years. Mr. Murphy was a lifelong resident of Quincy. He was a graduate of Quincy Vo-Tech and Boston College. Douglas was very active with the Squantum Christian Fellowship. He was a computer operator and programmer for many years. He is survived by his beloved wife of 35 years Sheryl L. (Dobbie) Murphy. Loving father of Heather MacWhinnie and her husband David of Quincy, Douglas Jr., Victoria and Renee Murphy all of Quincy. Devoted grandfather of Cody Huntington and Matthew MacWhinnie both of Quincy. Brother of Evelyn Jakub of Greenfield. Dear son-in-law of John and Ruth Dobbie of Quincy.

A Funeral Service will be held in the Deware Funeral Home at 576 Hancock Street, Quincy, on Saturday March 5th at 11:00 AM.
