Eleanor Ann (Toohey) Stenberg, born in Boston, May 24, 1922, to John F. Toohey and Ellen (Bagley) Toohey, passed away on Sunday, February 1, 2015. Her family moved to Braintree and she attended Sacred Heart School in Weymouth Landing. She married John A. Stenberg in 1940. She was an active member of the Braintree Womans Club. She was predeceased by her husband, John Stenberg, and her granddaughter, Elizabeth Calabro. She is survived by her three daughters, Judith (Stenberg) Calabro of Whitman, Ellen (Stenberg) Biagi of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Christine Stenberg of Litchfield, Maine. She is also lsurvived by 9 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 3 great great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made in her memory to a charity of one's choice.
