Marion A. Cross

Marion Arlene (Turner) Cross passed away peacefully at Care One Nursing home in Weymouth on Wednesday January 24, 2018 at the age of 92. She was born on September 18, 1925 in Quincy to the late William and Arlene Turner. She was the sister of the late Bill Turner and Glenn Crowell of Hingham. Marion was raised and educated in Quincy. Marion was the loving wife of the late Ralph Cross Sr. Marion’s favorite hobby was playing bingo regularly; she also enjoyed reading, knitting and spending quality time with her family and friends.
Marion is survived by her daughter Jean Deacon of Rockland, Son in law Dale Deacon of Wrentham, her sons the late Ralph Edward Cross, Jr and Daughter in law the late Judy Cross, Robert Cross and his wife Barbara of Arizona and Gary Cross of Weymouth. Marion also has several grandchildren. Shannan (Deacon) Kilsey and her husband Jarrod of Rhode Island, Leah Deacon and her Fiancé Ken Lucio of Marshfield, Ralph (Ricky) Cross , James Cross and his wife Nancy, Cheryl(Cross) Brolin and her husband David, Deborah (Cross) Hennessey and her husband William all of Quincy, Danielle (Nix) Maxim and her husband David of Onset and Gary (Lee) Cross of Whitman. Marion has joined her Grandsons Robert Cross Jr. and Joshua Deacon in heaven. Marion was also survived by 12 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews that she adored.
The Deacon Family welcomes you to celebrate Marion’s life on Wednesday Jan.31. Visiting hours will be held from 4:00-7:00 PM and a funeral service will be at 7:00 PM. Interment will take place on Thursday at 10:30 AM at the Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. Procession will leave from the Deware Funeral Home at 10:15 AM
