Mary Beatty, of Quincy, October 16, 2014 at the age of 95. Beloved daughter of the late Coleman and Catherine (McDonough) Beatty. Loving sister of the late Catherine McGarty, Delia, John, Joseph, Coleman, Edward, Thomas and George Beatty. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Born in Portland, Maine, as a young girl Mary spent 10 years living in Ireland with her family. Mary attended the Katherine Gibbs School, U. Mass of Boston, she also enjoyed philosophy.
Funeral Monday October 20, 2014 from the Deware Funeral Home 576 Hancock Street, Quincy, followed by a funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, 757 Hancock Street, Wollaston at 10:00 a.m. Relatives and friends invited. to attend visiting hours on Sunday from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. Interment at Saint Joseph's Cemetery, West Roxbury.
