Roberta Catherine Smith

She was born in Quincy and resided there with her family her entire life. A graduate of Bryant and Stratton Commercial School in Boston, she worked primarily in the insurance industry. She helped to introduce computer programming to her employer of many years, The Norfolk and Dedham Group. She received extensive training and became a Senior Statistical Analyst with Certified Statistical Analyst accreditation.

Roberta was devoted to her faith community, The First Presbyterian Church in Quincy. Roberta enjoyed handcrafts and made prayer shawls and baby clothes with the handwork group at the church.

She loved traveling across the country and to Canada with her brother, the late A. Howard Smith Jr.

Beloved daughter of the late Albert H. Smith and Catherine Smith. 

Survived by many loving and caring friends and family. Visiting hours will be held at the First Presbyterian Church, 270 Franklin St, Quincy, on Saturday, March 22 from 10:00-11:00 AM. Funeral Service will be at 11:00 AM at the church. Interment will be held on Tuesday March 25, 2025, at 10:30 AM in the Terrace Hill Cemetery, Walpole.
