In memory of Rong Huan Guo
Rong, as many of his friends and family know him: “Ah foon”, “ba”, “uncle” and “gung gung”, was a kind hearted man known for his gentle, playful, joyful nature. Those who had met him in his early life, can say he's always been the same, an unchanged happy spirit through the years. There is no doubt that his daughters carry that lively spirit within them, along with his strong will and helpful personality.
He never lost his inner child. As serious as life could get, he always remembered to have fun and laugh.
Everything he did, he did with care and pride. From gardening to cooking to fixing and building things. The devotion he had for his garden was almost equal to that of his friends and family.
No one is perfect but it can be easily said that he was the best of us. There is no one who was as kind and pure of heart.
A lot of people would describe him as a genuinely nice guy because he was truly one of the strongest and kindest people. He was the type to always tough things out and very rarely asked for help. If someone ever asked him for help though, he never hesitated to say yes. Whether it be a ride somewhere, picking up groceries, or fixing something. If he was able to help, he would.
The world has lost a bright light but we hope that his memory helps and inspires people to remember to be kind to each other, to help one another, and to not forget to have fun and enjoy life.
We want to sincerely thank you all for attending, in person, via zoom, and in spirit… to remember this truly wonderful and great human. He will be dearly missed, lovingly remembered, and we cherish the times he has left in our hearts.
