Timothy Y. Yee

Timothy ("Tim/Timmy") Y. Yee of Dedham, died peacefully on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 after an illness in the hospital. He was 73 years old. He was born in Boston, Massachusetts and was a lifelong resident of the greater Boston area. Tim leaves a wife Faye C. Yee, together with two children Jonathan Yee and Jennifer Yee and husband Andrew Carey.

Tim was the second child of four children of the late Paul G.K. Yee and the late Bo King Yee. He is survived by his two brothers, Paul M. Yee and wife Helen Yee, Donald G. Yee, and his sister, Linda G. Yee. Three uncles and four aunts together with twenty-four cousins survive Tim.

He was the brother-in-law of Gerald Chen and wife Han Lee Chen, and Hannah Shang and John Shang.

Tim lived a fruitful but quiet life and worked as a computer programmer. He was a devoted father to his children. He found joy in life's simple pleasures: walking through nature's garden, getting lost in a James Patterson mystery, and listening to the timeless beauty of classical music. Tim's loving nature, quiet strength, and gentle humor touched everyone that he met.

Tim's memory will live on in the hearts of those he loved, and those who loved him in return.

Inurnment of Tim's ashes will be at Dearborn Pavilion in the Forest Hills Cemetery, 95 Forest Hills Ave, Boston, MA 02130 at 12 noon on June 18, 2025. His cremation was on June 9, 2025 at St. Michael Crematory in Boston
