Mrs Yuk C Chan Cheung

October 4, 1928 - May 3, 2015

MRS. YUK CHUN CHEUNG, 86, died peacefully on May 3, 2015 in Quincy, MA.

Mrs. Yuk Chun Cheung is survived by her children Mr. Kam Hung Cheung, Mrs. Bonnie Wong, Mr. Eddie Cheung, Mrs. Vanessa Plourde, Mrs. Josephine Tam, and Mr. Russell Cheung and their spouses; her sisters Mrs. May Huie and Mrs. Connie Law and her husband; and many nephews, nieces, grandchildren, and a great-grandson.

She is predeceased by her husband, Mr. Fung Cheung, who died in 1999.

Mrs. Yuk Chun Cheung was born in Hong Kong, China. She immigrated to the United States in July, 1973. A beloved mother and grandmother, she took the greatest pride in caring for her family and many grandchildren. She will be remembered for her warm smile, kind heart, and easy going spirit. She appreciated the simple beauty of flowers and was always a gracious host ready to share. Her family will remember her ease in preserving her Chinese heritage while embracing the American culture.

Visiting hours will be held at the Deware Funeral Home at 576 Hancock Street, Quincy, MA on Monday, May 11th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at the Deware Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 12th from 10 am to 12 pm. All are invited to attend and celebrate Mrs. Yuk Chun Cheung’s life.
