I am so sorry for your loss. Don was a wonderful bowling coach to my son for the passed four years. Recently, he shared the story of his trip to Florida. He loved his kids and grandchildren so much it was reflected in his stories. I wish we could make the services but I do not think we will be able. Again, I am so sorry for your loss, his presence will be dearly missed every Saturday!

Sue & Family,

Tom and I were so sorry to hear of Don's sudden passing. Even though neighbors, we didn't see you often. When we did, he always had a kind word and a joke to tell. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this very difficult time.

Your former Sunnyslope neighbors.

Dear Sue and family, so sorry to here of Don's sudden passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. Don was great guy, Natalie and I both remember all the times you and Don hosted the couples bowling parties. Those memories always will have a special spot in our hearts. Don was great employee and always quick to help anyone who needed it, just like he was with the kids when he was coaching. He will be missed greatly by all who knew him.

Dear Sue & Family, all of us on the reunion board were shocked to hear of Don's passing. He will be remembered as a fun guy with lots of good stories to tell. It sounds like he was doing what he loved...coaching others...when he passed. Rest in Peace Don and keep a watch over us to keep us on the straight and narrow.

I worked with Don for a few years, but we stayed in touch through my daughter's junior/major's bowling. He was always quick with a kind word, a mood-lifting joke or just a presence that made you know everything was OK. My life was certainly better having known him. He's probably standing by Heaven's Gates welcoming everyone with his heartwarming smile and personality. You will truly be missed. I pray God's love embraces all of his family.

On Saturday 4/9 during Majors bowling at Castle my daughter had 5 strikes on the board from the corner of my eye Don coffee in hand walked down to give her grief or cheer but then quickly walked back up the stairs towards the pro shop! I didn't think anything of it Don was always coaching someone and being called over somewhere. Then secs I mean secs a nice lady came over and told us of Dons passing I was like Ah No he was just here? Told my daughter who was on the lanes and she said No he just came down here and went up there back to the pro shop she didn't believe it either, she stared into alley determined that he was there!

So just letting you know that Don was still coaching on Saturday morning with his coffee in hand!

Don was my Coach back when I was younger I started when I was 8ish so 1988-89-1998 and my mom worked with him we loved Don and loved the story's he would share of his sons and grandkids. His car show adventures!

our love and condolences from the Peterson-Boye family! He will be missed!
