Alice Gibson Allen

Dateline: Rockfish Mrs. Alice Gibson Allen of Rockfish died Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital at the age of 87. Mrs. Allen was born in Rockfish to the late Robert Henry Gibson, Sr. and Henrietta Culbreth Gibson. She was the last living child in her family. Mrs. Allen was preceded in death by her husband Johnny W. Allen, her siblings Andrew Lewis Gibson, Allen Culbreth Gibson, William David Gibson, Marie Gibson Fowler, Henrietta Gibson Tanner, Robert Henry Gibson, Jr., Eugene Hodgin Gibson, Kathleen Gibson Garner and Virginia Rose Thornton. Mrs. Allen is survived by 3 daughters, Shirley A. Stika (Keith) of Goose Creek, SC; Sandra D. Allen of Goose Creek, SC; Teresa J. Allen of Wilson, NC; sister-in-law Barbara Gibson of Shelby, NC, numerous loving nieces, nephews and cousins. A visitation will be 6-8 Thursday, February 5, 2015 at Crumpler Funeral Home 131 Harris Ave. Raeford, NC Funeral service will be 1pm Friday, February 6, 2015 at Tabernacle Baptist Church 3219 Lindsay Rd.
