She was born in Cumberland County, NC on August 31, 1951 to the late Lonnie and Orean Smith.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son, two brothers, and a sister.
Anita is survived by her children, Malcolm Lee Kinley, James David Britt (Jessica), Candice Britt, and Lonnie Smith, Jr. (Deborah); 12 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.
The interment will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 18, 2023 in the Raeford Cemetery.
