Barbara Jackson

Barbara was born in Cumberland County on March 17, 1958, to the late Douglas Stephens and Isabel Grimes Stephens. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Johnny Stephens, Helen Davis, and Peggy McMillan. She was an avid gardener and will be dearly missed by her family.

Barbara is survived by her husband Billy Joe Howell of Fayetteville, NC. two daughters Amanda J. Jackson Lee and her husband David Lee of St. Pauls, NC and Kimberly Ann Jackson Holmes of Fayetteville, NC; a stepdaughter Melissa Daniels of Fayetteville, NC, six grandchildren, Brandy, David, Alexis, Jamie, Halie, and Codie; two great grandchildren Jason and Micah, two brothers Douglas Stephens II of Raeford, NC and Clifford Stephens and his wife Barbara of Raeford, NC, a sister Deene Tighe and her husband Edward of Conway, SC. and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm on Sunday, September 26, 2021, at Crumpler Funeral Home in Raeford.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 pm on Sunday, at Crumpler Funeral Home Chapel in Raeford, with her nephew Chaplain Douglas Stephens III officiating. Burial will be in the Tabernacle Baptist Church Cemetery in Rockfish.
