Dateline Lumber Bridge Mrs. Betty Jean Smith Livingston 79 of 7265 St. Paul's Road Lumber Bridge died Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at FirstHealth Richmond Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Livingston was born in Cumberland Co.August 20, 1934 to the late Marion Smith and Mae Baxley Smith. She was preceded in death by her husband Archie Howard Livingston. She was retired from the Hoke Co. school system. She is survived by 3 sons, Wayne Livingston of Lumber Bridge:Charles Livingston (Kim) of Laurinburg, David Livingston of Lumber Bridge; 1 daughter Tammy L. Daniels ( Brian) of Raeford; 1 sister Naomi Beatty (Aaron) of Oregon; 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 7-9 Monday, February 17,2014 at Crumpler Funeral Home 131 Harris Ave. Raeford NC. A graveside service will be held 3:00pm Tuesday, February 18,2014 at the McGougan-Livingston Family Cemetery in Lumber Bridge.
