

Mrs. Betty Rose Watts of 13261 NC Hwy 71 N, died Tuesday, August 21, 2012 in FirstHealth Hospice House at the age of 75. Mrs. Watts was born in Henderson, NC on January 27, 1937 to the late Edward Rose and Pattie Brannon Beddingfield. She was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Franklin Watts; her daughter-in-law Gay Watts. She was a member of Westside Baptist Church, the church choir, and the Gleaners Sunday School Class. She retired from B.C. Moores in Red Springs. She is survived by a son, Bennie Ray Watts of Red Springs; two grandchildren, Brandon Watts of Red Springs, Olivia Jackson and her husband Robbie of Red Springs; one great grandchild Gabrielle Jackson of Red Springs; two nieces, Jackie Singleton and her husband Dee of Lumberton, Barbara McInnis and her husband Billy of Red Springs. Visitation will be 7:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at Crumpler Funeral Home, 220 East 4th Ave, Red Springs, NC 28377 Funeral Service will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, August 24, 2012 at Westside Baptist Church, 527 North Vance Street Red Springs, NC 28377, with Pastor Randy Locklear officiating. Burial will be in the Alloway Cemetery.
