Dateline: Parkton Mr. Carlos Wendell (Buzzy) Goodman, Jr., died Thursday, October 2, 2014 in Lithia Springs, GA. Mr. Goodman was born in Asheboro, NC on March 31, 1957. He is preceded in death by his father Carlos Wendell Goodman, Sr. Buzzy was an avid motorcycle rider and he loved his daughter and grandbabies. He was a hard worker for his family. He is survived by his wife Kris (Pebbles) of Parkton; a daughter, Daphnie Goodman Hartman (Brian) of Hampstead, NC; 3 grandchildren Austin Hartman, Hayleigh Hartman, Hanna Hartman all of Hampstead; his mother Ann Parker Goodman of Raeford; 4 brothers, James C. Goodman (Meloney) of Raeford; Donnie Goodman of Raeford, Ronnie Goodman (Melody) of Rockfish; Jeff Goodman (Mary) of Fayetteville and several nieces and nephews. A visitation will be 7-9 Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at Crumpler Funeral Home 131 Harris Ave. Raeford. A funeral service will be held 2 pm Thursday, October 9, 2014 at Celebration of Praise Church of God, with Reverend James Goodman officiating. Burial will be in Raeford Cemetery.
