Caroline Scott

Born October 10, 1950 in Raeford to the loving parents Caleb Jiles Ross the third and Jennie Beatrice Ross (nee McMillan).

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Karine Ross.

Aamirah, as she was known to her family and friends learned compassion early in life from caring for her younger siblings.That period in life prepared her for her calling early childhood education where she touched the hearts and lives of many children.

She will be missed by her surviving relatives. Her children Kevin Dennis Ross, Rasheem Abdul Scott, Rasha Aqila Scott. Her siblings Timmy Ross, Ronald Ross, Donald Ross, Melissa Ross, Sharon Ross. Countless cousins, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Crumpler Funeral Home, 131 Harris Avenue, Raeford, NC 28376. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m.

She will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband at Sandhills Veterans Cemetery.
