Carrie Lee Bilgera

Born in Robeson County, NC, Carrie lived in Jacksonville Florida for 40 years where she owned and operated a beauty salon. She moved to North Carolina in 2021.

Carrie is survived by her daughter, Vanessa Bilgera-Krug and husband Patrick of Jacksonville, FL, her sons Gary (Ian) Bilgera and wife Mary Buckley-Bilgera of Raeford, NC and Julius Bilgera and wife Lacey Bilgera of Jacksonville, FL; sister Marie Jones of Raeford, NC; aunts Retha Kenworthy and Annie Ruth Locklear both of North Carolina; sisters-in-law, Donna Locklear, Beverly Locklear both of North Carolina and Gail Locklear of Virginia Beach, VA; brother-in law Robert Marshall of Norfolk, VA; seven grandchildren Kaylee, Jennifer, Annette, Makayla, Cecilia, Na’thali Kai, and Koa Li; three great grandchildren Luna Rae, Bastian, and Declan along with many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Mary Frances and Johnny Caldwell, siblings Dolan Locklear, Sylvia (Roland) Ollgaard, Mildred Marshall, Donnie Gene Locklear, Earl Locklear, Johnny Locklear and Dennis (Beck) Locklear; and grandchild Lhonnie Jay.

Carrie was immensely proud of her family and looked forward to moving home to North Carolina where she lived with her sister Marie who cared for her during her final days. She leaves behind beautiful memories.

A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at Crumpler Funeral Home 131 Harris Ave. Raeford, NC 28376.
